This time, I'm not starting with a fortune cookie, instead giving you a quote from a very good book:
Lewis Carol was making a point in that conversation between Alice and the Cheshire Cat that there is a certain amount of lunacy to be expected in Wonderland.
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
It's rather interesting to contrast that to my experience at emPower. I've had the best week talking to some of the best people on the planet. One of those conversations happened on a day I was feeling just a little bit overwhelmed, but by the time I was through with the conversation I was feeling inspired, enthused and... well, emPowered.
What if I don't want to go among emPowered people?
Oh... you can't help that, Mrs. Z, we're all emPowered around here... and you must be too, or you wouldn't have come here.
