AIG = American Institute of Greed

I am very blessed to have a husband who makes good money. His hard work has allowed me to be a stay at home mom, and now has given me the financial stability to start my own business. As times have gotten tough, we've also been blessed that he was high enough up on the list to be unaffected by the layoffs that took out a large portion of his company's work force. But making good money doesn't mean a thing when the PTB start cutting hours.

This month, he works 15 days. Next month, 14. That's an entire house payment gone and then some. We'll make it; tighten our belts and cut what we can. All of America is doing it as we struggle collectively through this economic depression. Or... at least most of us are.

If you're on AIG's payroll that may not be the case. As you get your bonus check in the mail, I want you to take a good hard look at it. It's America's money you're holding in your hand - our dreams that AIG has stolen and written off in what they claim is a contractual obligation. The stimulus package wasn't perfect, but we held out hope that it would make a change, turn some things around and get our country moving the right direction again. What we've gotten is more deceit and thievery. Shame on you AIG.

Some things in this world are black and white. Thou shalt not steal. Cheaters never prosper. He who is greedy lives always in want.

Gone are the days were we turn a blind eye. We are looking for accountability, integrity, for fidelity and moral uprightness. America is demanding a change.
