Tech Thursday - Plan B?

My internet went offnet for a few hours this morning. Because of my schedule today it wasn't a huge deal, so I was able to work around it. Inconvenience, yes, disaster no, because I have a plan B. B, as in backup.

Technology is the core of my business, but I can operate at least part of my business sans technology. All of my contacts are in a rolodex of sorts, so if the profiles I've collected and stored online aren't available, I can use the hard copy. I keep sketchbooks with my notes, and I store the outlines and the rest of my writing offsite.

If the very worst happened, I'd lose a little bit of my work, but not enough to leave me dead in the water. Now if I could just be as diligent with my digital photos and music collection...
