100 Words - Inauguration

What a fortuitous word and so fitting for this week. I'd mentioned the inauguration of my new business in my last posting; how it wasn't something I'd wanted. I should clarify that statement. I have no second thoughts about where I am today, or having started Wordizm. But running my own business wasn't a long-standing dream. I wanted to be an author, sure, but I never dreamed my writing would morph into a company of my own design.

The last 14 months have been a whirlwind. As I look back, I see many things falling into place according to the outline of my business plan, but a greater portion of Wordizm's development is due to the grace of God's business plan. Some of the things that have clicked into place over the last six months, God set into motion years ago.

Through it all, I have to say that I've been incredibly blessed and I'm excited to be planning the future of my company. My company. What a statement that is! It struck me as I applied on a writing gig mid-way through the week. I'm moving on to the next level in a continuing series of fortunate events.

100 Words is a writing challenge based on The Free Dictionary's Word of the Day.

Okay, so it was 200 words this time but I figure I owe you guys after all of the radio silence.
